Vinyl Square at The Old Vinyl Factory
We thought it would be interesting to start posting finished images alongside behind the scenes images and our experiences on site. Let us know what you think!
We shot this raised photography for Mark Glazier on a very cold winters day, there was in fact ice under foot on the roof we were perched, hands were indeed numb! The building had already topped out when we were on site but was covered in scaffolding and was wrapped. Logistically we needed to ensure the view either side of the site wasn't obscured by this scaffolding. We shot multiple positions along the roof opposite and parallel to the site to reveal the view behind the scaffold.
The square in front of the building will hopefully become a bustling location for future residents and students of Global Academy to relax, perhaps it might be already, on slightly warmer days.
We loved the statue of Nipper the HMV logo/mascot in the square and his inquisitive facial expression.
